Description:
Blue turquoise is a captivating gemstone known for its brilliant sky-blue hue, often accented by natural veining or matrix patterns in black or brown. This iconic stone has been cherished across cultures for its vibrant beauty and protective qualities.

Fun Fact:
Turquoise has been used in spiritual practices and adornments for over 5,000 years, particularly by the Egyptians and Persians. In ancient Persia, turquoise was worn to protect against the "evil eye" and was a symbol of wealth and power.

MATERIALS

Barse Jewelry has made jewelry since 1986 and is based in Dallas, Texas. Barse states that every stone it uses is genuine. Its cast pieces are made by lost-wax casting in its own factory in Thailand, most of them in Barse's golden bronze, an alloy of copper and a small amount of tin that is solid throughout; some pieces are sterling silver or brass. Its beaded pieces are designed in Dallas and handcrafted in Thailand. The description of each piece names its metal, its stones and any treatment the maker states.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Golden bronze: avoid water while wearing it, and keep it in an airtight bag or a jewelry box. Barse applies a protective coating, and over time the bronze may develop a rich patina. To bring back its shine, use a jewelry polishing cloth, or mild detergent with water and a brush. Sterling silver: store it dry and apart from other pieces, and polish it with a cloth made for silver. Genuine stones: keep them away from perfume, lotion and harsh cleaners, and store each piece on its own.
