MATERIALS
Milk & Rose designs its jewelry in New York and makes it in Italy and Turkey, in sterling silver and gold vermeil. Its sterling silver is 92.5% silver and, the maker states, nickel-free; its gold vermeil is a thick layer of solid gold over 925 sterling silver. Some pieces carry crystals, gemstones or cultured pearls. The description of each piece names its metal and its stones.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Sterling silver: polish it with a silver polishing cloth; for a deeper clean, use lukewarm water and a mild, non-abrasive soap, rinse well and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Store each piece on its own in an airtight bag or a pouch made for silver, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Gold vermeil: wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth and clean it the same way with lukewarm water and mild soap, but never with cleaners or polishing cloths meant for silver or solid gold; store it in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box. For both, avoid lotion, perfume, sanitizer, hairspray and cleaners, and dry a piece well if it gets wet.
